Speaking Truth to Power? No, not the Hollywood leftards. Miss California Carrie Prejean, who had the temerity to say on national TV that she believes gay marriage is wrong.

Oh, how the left mewled on about how Bushitler and VP Dick "Torquemada" Cheney "chilled" our freedoms during their 8 year reign of terror:

Tim Robbins warned, "A chill wind is blowing in this nation" - just as he and his common-law wife, Susan Sarandon, joined hundreds of thousands of Americans in free and open expressions of coordinated public dissent against the United States' participation in the war on terrorism.

Ms. Prejean spoke her mind at the Miss USA Pageant, based on her faith, and got called a "dumb bitch" by self-described media queen Perez Hilton. She should have told Perez to shove it, but he's probably already had that done to him in every way imaginable. She now faces the tyranny of the masses, earning scorn from the glitterati and the millions of brainless sycophant that worship at its altar. Don't waste time looking for her in any Pepsi commercials, or chatting with Tyra Banks about superstar beau Michael Phelps.

Back to Mr. Robbins and his saggy squeeze Thelma. Despite right-wing oppression, they walk free today, as do Leni Riefenstahl Award winner Michael Moore, foreign policy expert Sean Pinhead and the Hollywood cast of thousands who treated us to one long anti-everything whine for the last eight years.

Meanwhile, the Mormon church is verbally and physically attacked for it's stance against gay marriage, anyone who dares criticize President Obama is branded a racist by washed up comediennes, and conservatives, including war veterans, are painted as enemies of the state by High Kommissar Janet Napolitano and her underlings over at the Bureau of Propaganda.

There's a chill wind blowing, but it's blowing in from the left.

Thank You Hollywood

Hollywood is a giant jobs program for those unfit for real life. Where else could drug-addled bums like Woody Harrelson and Sean Penn put on eyeglasses and suddenly become an environmental expert or a foreign policy scholar?

Thank you Hollywood for employing the otherwise unemployable. Were it not for you, the welfare lines would be much longer, unemployment higher, and my wallet lighter due to the tax increase it would require to sustain these ignorant bozos. A $10 movie ticket or $40 concert ticket is a small price to pay to keep these beebee brains off the government dole.

Could you imagine Lindsay Lohan or Snoop Dogg trying to count change at the 7-11? Eddy Vedder or 50 Cent working at a mens clothing store? Barbra Streisand should be in Synagogue every Sabbath thanking God for her voice. If she had to live off of her brains she'd be broke.

Charlie Sheen advocated kook 9/11 conspiracy theories because "it feels like a conspiracy." Famed metallurgist Rosie O'Donnell gave her audience a physics lesson, explaining how fire had never melted metal. I'm sure there were a lot of steel workers scratching their heads over that one.

Matt Damon is the latest Hollywood circus clown to play political commentator. He touched on the "sexy mom as president" theme, which shows you where his adolescent mind is at. He also worried about Palin's ability to stare down Putin.

Yeah Matt, having a big game hunter who took down her own party elite face off with the Ruskies is really risky. Better to go with the effete metrosexual with a messiah complex who wants to be everybody's friend. That would be much better.

So, thank you Hollywood. Thanks for the laughter you bring us when the rancid anti-American movies you grunt out are met by empty theaters. Thank you for the freebees you throw our way in the form of some glittery, plastic surgery moron trying to lecture us from her pulpit on the Larry King Show. Their stupid pronouncements keep us in stitches.

But most of all, thanks for keeping these dregs of society off the streets and giving them a safe place to shoot up and feel good about themselves. Only in America could such worthless bums rise to such prominence but still thankfully be of no real consequence.

Hollywood Conservatives out of the Closet

If you hate the overflowing sewer on the cultural landscape that is Hollywood, you must go see An American Carol when it comes out in October. It mocks political correctness, Michael Moore and the Bush Derangement Syndrome crowd. It should be quite an antidote to the anti-American, military-hating stink bombs that have debuted (and failed) in the last few years.

David Zucker, director of the funny movies Airplane!, Naked Gun, and Kentucky Fried Movie, is the driving force behind the project. He is also an unabashed conservative. As the Weekly Standard article states, conservative in Hollywood is the new gay. Most are still in the closet.

But that is changing. Hollywood conservatives have an informal club called the Friends of Abe. Kelsey Grammer is out as a conservative and there is hopeful talk of him taking on Barbara Boxer.

Liberals who had no problem with Michael Moore trashing our president and twisting the truth are already howling like scalded dogs over this movie, which is a comedy, not a pseudo-documentary. Here is an excellent example of liberal scorn for this movie:

This is just more of the right wing believing their own BS to make themselves feel better. They know their time is almost up. A great deal of effort is put forth daily to keep morale up (see talk radio, right wing blogs/forums, Fox News) among the true believers. This film is another example.

And how ironic is it to usurp the Dickens classic about class exploitation as a vehicle promoting the current regime of haves and have mores. Yeah, lets talk about EVIL. The right wing think they are the only ones who can recognize it. Well most of it is banal and born of stupidity (see Katrina as just one example). It's not always a dark-faced man with a bomb.

Also, it appears the film will mock anti-war protesters as idiots. I can laugh at that too, like Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" segment or similar vehicles. But it gets old after awhile. And I'll stack up the left in general (despite airhead college protesters) against the talk radio/Fox News audiences, rednecks, neo-con paranoids, racists (oh yeah, it still abounds), militia members, neo-Country Western crappy musicians (you know who they are), etc. etc., as to who is better informed.

But it appears we can finally put to rest the notion that Hollywood is all liberals - nah, probably not. Too convenient a target for the low fruit pickers on the right. Also, it's sad that a bunch of wealthy movie makers will carry water for a party that considers many of the gay and lesbians they work with in the industry as second class citizens. Evil, recognize it. Got to keep their taxes low though.

Come October, the film may do well, if a campaign like the one for "Passion of the Christ", along with a "let's stick it to the liberals" message is ginned up via the usual outlets.

So go and have fun liberal-haters, laugh all the way into the political graveyard, you are proud to be part of an ugly history which will not be judged mercifully.

Oh, and Michael Moore is FAT!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha... /sarcasm

Go read the Weekly Standard article about the movie, Mr. Zucker, and his surprisingly large group of conservative Hollywood pals. More importantly, go see An American Carol when it comes out. Hollywood conservatives are standing up for the cause, let's show them we've got their backs. Anything that's got liberals this riled has to be good!

Why do They Hate Us?

I think Hollywood is the reason why many traditional societies hate us. I have traveled around the world a little, and the image people have of us is almost exclusively a Hollywood one. Rampant drug use, unbridled greed, thuggish behavior glorified, women degraded or more commonly degrading themselves, young people disrespecting their elders. Celebrity culture celebrates boys as gangstas, young girls as booty shaking tramps. Normal people like the ones you and I know are trotted out only to be made fun of.

To the rest of the world, thanks to Hollywood, we are the seven deadly sins personified. If you were a parent in a traditional society, would you want your kids exposed to that? Would you want anything to do with a country like that? Normal people don't want their daughters dressing and behaving like a Hollywood tramp. Parents want their son to grow up to be a real man who respects women and acts responsibly.

Hollywood is so far removed from the real America, but Hollywood is what the rest of the world sees. Is it any wonder they hate us?
