I used to listen to country western music about 15 years ago, and I recall really liking Diamond Rio's 'Bubba Hyde,' but went back to the oldies format; you know, where they play 'All around the watchtower' by Jimi Hendrix every hour on the hour.

Country western was prevalent where I grew up in Oregon, and my favorite song back then was by Wynn Stewart, when he warbled his hit in the mid 60's 'It's such a pretty world today.'

I've got that one on a "hard to find country oldies hits" CD. It also has Marvin Rainwater's "Gonna Find Me a Bluebird" on it.
