We've all suffered it in opposing the Democrats' centrally-planned, politburo-worthy health care "solution:"
"Oh, yeah?!" Slobbers a lefty defender, "what's your idea? Stop being the party of No and start providing solutions!"
Well, the GOP has been trying but the press ignores them like a liberal protester avoids bathing.
Peter Suderman has written an article in Reason Magazine, linking to many alternate ideas. It is a useful reference. Read up so that the next time you're challenged, you can tell that lib to put down the hopium pipe and listen up!

I've stopped debating liberals ... I just eat them. Recycling, after all, is good for the planet.
I gave it up too; it's like debating with my 2 year old.
*sigh* (nodding head knowingly). We've all been there, I just stumbled across this and thought I would do a public service.
Snarky's idea is much more useful...
I find the idea that the problem with health insurance is that it pays for too much, intriguing. After all, your auto insurance doesn't pay for your oil change, checkups, or tires.
I'd like to see some simulations of what the impact would be if we limited health insurance to catastrophic instead of routine care.
OMG...did I just ask for modeling and simulation in the health care sector? Help, I think I've been assimilated...
(Sorry, but Silverfiddle will probably be the only one who gets that inside joke)
