Amid much fanfare, I am proud to announce the newest wing of Western Hero: Go Trolling! It's a blog roll of lefty bloggers, a liberal Hall of Shame, if you will.
I got the idea when I ran across some liberal nutbags who, like pigeons hovering over a statue, left their droppings at Bonsai From The Right.
So what did I do? Like any military veteran worth his retirement check, I tracked the stinking rats back to their fetid lairs and pulled the pin. (I do not rant at them. I confuse them with reason and logic devoid of the foul language they are so accustomed to.)
My First Strike
My first high value target was a rubber-gloved TSA inspector who blogs when he's not wanding crotches, surfing full body scan porn and sniffing travelers' underwear. He lays down some pretty funny foam-at-the-mouth liberal rants over at Disaffected.
He has an affinity for certain cuss words, using them over and over. And he uses amusing nicknames for conservatives like "Racist Limbaugh." HA HA HA!!! Get it? He replaced "Rush" with "Racist!" Because Rush, like all conservatives is racist! HA HA HA!!! Get it???
He may also work for Keith Olbermann on the side...
Anyway, avail yourself of the list (it's down to the right), and engage targets at will. Be careful with Fabius Maximus, and be respectful of Serving Patriot. Neither are your average slobbering BDS socialist.
Fabius bills himself as a libertarian-liberal. He is wickedly smart, has interesting and informed commentary, and will smack you down if you get stupid. Serving Patriot is a well-reasoned man who shares much of our disdain for government and crony capitalism, just from the other side.

I commend you on your homework and research but for me I will not waste my time. I did however check out the first one as I knew who it would be and of course I was not surprised, ranting from liberals,no substance.
If I seek that all I have to do is tune into msnbc.
I have a suggestion, Silverfiddle: how about you continue to poke those liberal bee hives with your well reasoned stick, and report back to us of your 'progress.'

I actually like Serving Patriot.
It's the profane slobberers who chain themselves to Morons Spouting Nothing But Crap that I have no patience for.
Hilarious!! I have done a little trolling, but usually only when they peek out of their holes and go on the offensive on conservative blogs. The ideology they tout is distasteful and illogical to me, so I'd rather not bother with it any more. But it's good to know there is a list here in case I change my mind.

I spent most of my life in the military, which put me in some pretty strange places, so it's not so much a shock to me...
Silverfiddle, As always thank you for your service! But I live in The Peoples Republic of Michigan and their are plenty of pretty strange people here. This is by no means a 'comfy conservative neighborhood'.
I really need not to go trolling, all I have to do is open my front door. At work it is unavoidable (UAW) but thank Heaven even some of them are seeing the light.
Christopher, You've got a lot of cred, having to live in a failed state cause by liberal experimentation. And you work with UAW members... You are doing the Lords work every day!
I hope commonsense and reason can prevail. Maybe with enough people like you preaching the good news, that state can turn it around.

Silver, Not only work with UAW but am a member. I must qualify that though, member by default. Michigan is not a 'Right to Work' State.
I have only resorted to offence when attacked over at KOOKs. When the trolls attack, it is very effective when you read their stuff and show examples of how their actions are examples of the insult they use. Leftys are often doing or being a perfect example of the insults they hurl so carelessly. A perfect example is when they call you a "fascist." That is an insult hurled at pro-liberty folks all too often. Oddly, when you define fascism beyond "Hitler" to the form of government that it is, our political "left" is actually closer to fascism than communism. Trolls usually resort to the use such insults without regard to their true meanings and that is usually an exploitable weakness. Still, if you don't know your stuff you basically become what you are attacking and that doesn't help us win the debate. As for Mr. Silverfiddle, he plays them just like Charlie Daniels in that commercial.
Thankfully Florida is a "right to work" state. Compulsory union membership reminds me of the Soviet tactic of compulsory communist party membership. Both were/are a requirement for employment in their respective times and parts of the world.

And you also hit the bulls eye about liberal statism being much closer to fascism than any conservative or libertarian tea party.
Finally, I also agree that hurling insults only damages your own cause. I do not do that when trolling, and I have found some surprising common cause every now and then.

Many so called liberals are figuring out that you actually lose freedoms when things are free. That is a new concept for many. They have been miseducated and misinformed that everything a politician promises becomes a "right." Funny thing about rights granted by politicians...for every one you get, you lose a thousand. That's why our Constitution was framed with rights coming from God. Fortunately people are going back and learning about their real rights and our real history. Go back into history and look at the origins of all the various forms of statism and they have their origins in European 18/19th century Atheism. That Atheism was a reactionary movement to the theocracy that existed previously. Ironic, right?
Thanks for the compliments by the way. Yours are always thought provoking over at KOOKs. They always seem to provide me with good reading material in the mornings when I wake up. I make it a point to read and consider every comment and yours always contribute in a positive way to the subject being discussed.
