The rank condescension, treating us all like children, is what I find most galling about the Obama Administration in particular, and liberals in general.

And then there are the brainwashed masses...

* The hosanna shouting Hopium Smokers in the press;

* The intellectually, morally and financially bankrupt congressional politburo writing important laws restricting the capacity of flush toilets while continuing to worm their way into every corner of our lives;

* And those servants of the Ministry of Culture and Propaganda, the Hollywood celebutards pledging their pathetic, plastic lives to Obama.


They lecture on on things even a moron knows, and act as though they just thought it up themselves

We didn't know how to wash our hands before The Great O entered our lives!

We thank Minister of Hygiene Sebelius for teaching the masses how to cough.

Our children cared nothing for school until the dear leader imparted his words of wisdom and encouragement to them. "Get serious, work hard, sit up straight..."

Wow! What wisdom! How did we ever educate our young before The Big O rolled into our lives?

When they're not pronouncing the patently obvious as though they were Moses descending from Mount Sinai with The Tablets, they spout absurdities:

"Spend our way to prosperity" is my personal favorite. Right up there with Eat Yourself Thin. And if you disagree with The Big O-genda, you're a racist!!!

Enough Already! Shut Up! STFU! I'm tired of your lectures! And so is everybody else who isn't a mushy-headed libtard! So just shut up and leave us alone. Mankind survived before you got here and it will continue once you're gone.


Even Bill Maher (who I grudgingly respect when I'm not wanting to punch that smirk off his face), is fed up:

New Rule: Now that we've answered his call to wash our hands, President Obama must continue to tell us how to live. Last week, when America was faced with the pan-global swine flu omega death plague, the President went on TV and told people to wash their hands, and experts tell us this made a big difference, which augurs well for next month's "National Wipe Your Butt Day." Next week, in a fireside chat, he'll tell us not to put a fork in the toaster.

Maher better watch it. He may find himself on the enemies list next to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. As for me, I agree with Reverend Gregori: No thanks. I've already got a Messiah.

Obama's 9/11 Hijackers

The Long March Continues

The Dear Leader will address all school children next week. What's next? Pipe in his presence to all places of business so he can exhort workers to give Uncle Barack their all?

This will be followed by his community organizing syndicates Hijacking 9/11 and turning it into a day of guilt and shame and atonement at his behest. This is about removing Muslim Terrorists from the narrative and putting the blame on selfish Americans, who can remove the stain of guilt by dropping all that Cowboy Bush talk of "terrism" and instead obeying your government's call to volunteer. As if none of us knew how to do that before Uncle Obama told us to.

Chicago Ray nails it. This is about morphing that tragic and heroic day into a leftist "teachable moment" of shaming and manipulating. You can see a print that makes the point over at at Hot Air.

Russ Wilcox has written an excellent piece, Desecrating 9/11 and Denigrating Christianity, criticizing the Obama Administration in a charitable way, and it spurred my own thoughts on the subject.

I share his reticence to just slam Obama as so many of our ideological friends do, but I also share his criticism of Obama and the rogue's gallery of advisers he has surrounded himself with.

The Long March
If you read "Hoodwinked" by Jack Cashill and "Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg it becomes quite clear what they are doing: They are continuing the Long March of Progressvism.

One can believe this without casting aspersions and without believing these people are evil. Indeed, many of them think they are doing The Lord's work (some would say, yeah, the dark lord's!) by taking over government and society to regulate everything for the betterment of the ignorant masses.

They seek not to destroy our institutions of capitalism, family, and church, but to get inside them and turn them to their purposes. It's insidious.

I hate to impugn the religious motives of anyone, for I cannot read someone's heart. But what are we to conclude from Obama's 20 year membership in The First United Church of G-d Damn America? He says in his book he joined for political cred or whatever. Religion is just another tool to be used by the movement.

They're showing their true colors, and America doesn't like it
What kind of preacher talks like that anyway? And what kind of aspiring Czar asks sarcastically, "How's that capitalism goin' for ya this year" and calls his fellow communists "comrades"? Most importantly, what kind of man surrounds himself with such demagogues?

There are signs that Americans are getting wise to this. Did these bourgeoisie Bolsheviks really think they could community organize the whole country? Unlike many poor urban dwellers, too benumbed by government dependency to get out of the way of a hurricane, the majority of Americans prefer to take care of themselves.

The hopium cloud is dissipating, the buzz is wearing off, and reality is sinking in... I pray we can turn this back.

Obama Worship. Liberal Propaganda. Journalism?

Supplicants in the press continue to promote their hero, Barack Obama.

Obama worshiper Fatimah Ali wrote a particularly dishonest piece. in the Philadelphia Daily News. I'm not saying she's a liar; I'm sure she believes the manure she swallows and regurgitates. My fiskers are out, so let's get started.

She starts by asserting John McCain is just like George Bush. This is a willful distortion. Different men, different biographies, different political styles, different beliefs on the role of government. But she's duty bound to spout the Democratic party line.

She mentions Barney Smith from Marion, Indiana, the ordinary guy who proclaimed himself a Republican for Obama at the DNC Convention. He's an unemployed man living in a liberal sinkhole hollowed out by populist policies and cocky union overreach.

Yes, there are two Americas: Liberal reservations ran by dysfunctional governments that tax businesses into leaving while promising gullible citizens more goodies it can't afford.

Then there is the rest of America, where responsible Democratic and Republican governments encourage people to take care of themselves by participating in free-market capitalism. California and Massachusetts pay the same federal taxes as Alabama and Tennessee, but they tax their businesses more. So who is to blame for the decline of the former and the continued job growth of the latter? Could it be local and state governments?

We have a fundamentally strong economy; some states are more adept at taking advantage of it than others. To blame President Bush is ridiculous. States and cities that engage in leftist Eat The Rich rhetoric (Michigan, Ohio) are suffering. Oklahoma, Texas and other business friendly regions are enjoying lower unemployment.

Here's another outright lie from Ms. Ali:

Over the last eight years, we've lost 3.2 million jobs

This is easily refuted by this Economic Policy Institute negative article lamenting slow but positive job growth. And of course, she fails to mention those minor factors known as the dot-com bubble and 9/11. But no lie is too big to advance the cult of Obama.

He (Obama) promises to cut taxes for 95 percent of American workers and ease the burden for millions of families.

Does she realize how little taxes the bottom 50% of income earners pay? For the record, the bottom 50% makes less than 32,000/year and pays 3% of the income tax. 35% of wage earners pay no taxes at all. They don't need a tax break, they need jobs! And jobs are provided by rich people that she wants to tax into oblivion.

The top 1%, those making over 388,000/year, pay almost 40%. I'm not sticking up for rich people, but how can you cut taxes for the bottom 50% when they pay little or no taxes already? Answer: You give them "tax Credits" that are thinly disguised government handouts. This Wall Street Journal article explains it well:

Mr. Obama claims to offer a tax cut to moderate-income families, but a significant portion of Mr. Obama's tax plan is a welfare giveaway costing more than $648 billion over 10 years, according to the Tax Policy Center.

How so? He would authorize a hodgepodge of refundable tax credits covering everything from education, mortgage payments, child care and other items for people who do not pay income taxes now.

About 38% of U.S. households pay no income tax today. Under a President Obama (whose policies would shave 15.3 million households off the tax rolls) that share would grow to nearly half of all American households.

We have been repeatedly told that everyone should pay their fair share. So this sounds grossly unfair and like a return of tax-and-spend liberal economics. No wonder there is a lot of doubt about the wisdom of the junior senator from Illinois.

Liberals are enamored of Billion Dollar Schemes when all that is really required is following some simple advice. Walter E. Williams, a brilliant and witty economist I greatly respect, has a simple plan for success in life:

Avoiding long-term poverty is not rocket science. First, graduate from high school. Second, get married before you have children, and stay married. Third, work at any kind of job, even one that starts out paying the minimum wage. And, finally, avoid engaging in criminal behavior.

It really is that simple, just ask the tens of millions of successful Americans who have tried it. Ms. Ali closes her propaganda piece with her real bottom line:

If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness - and hopelessness!

Translation: If you backwoods hicks elect the old white guy and we'll tip it all over, man! Hand over the loot and nobody gets hurt.
