This Cartoon reminded me of the Cash for Clunkers program. If it's such a good idea to take money from the treasury to pay people to buy new cars, I propose the following:
Let's create a construction boom by burning our houses down!
Too drastic? OK. Then let's break every window in the nation. That should provide some stimulus to the glass industry as well as to construction contractors.
Still too ridiculous? OK. Then let's pay Obama acolytes to weatherize homes...
