This is a very true dtatement. There are those that are welfare that do need itand this is to include members of my own family. They didn't get there by thier own means but by the help of federal goverment reaching out to far and wall street looking for the all mighty dollar. Welfare is there for those need it and this case there are millions of americans that have been added to the welfare linee. That were not there before the crap hit the fan.

I also am against those that families have been using this program for generations...

I know that in Canada you have to prove you've been looking for a job or taking classes and if you don't don't get a job soon enough you're cut off of welfare.

Also, people who have ever worked actually pay into what is called employment insurance, so for the most part it may just be their own money getting back to them.

So, no it's not a true statement. It's moronic and insensitive.

We're talking about the United States of America here, not the northern office, so your comments are moronic.

I assume America is more harsh on poor people than Canada, so, they're not moronic.

Silverfiddle said...

Of course we're not. We have the richest, fattest poor people in the world.

You don't know how far from true that really is.
