Democrats: OK For Thee But Not Me, # 538

Wanna hear a subversive idea? Why not make politicians suffer under the same bureaucratic nightmare of a health plan they foist on the citizenry?

Representative John Fleming (R-Louisiana), who is also a medical doctor, has drafted a simple two page resolution, HR 615. It simply states:

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Members who
vote in favor of the establishment of a public, Federal Government
run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate
in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree
to enroll under that public option.
