Looking for hope from a politician is like looking for love from a prostitute, and the outcome is the same for both.

Does that make the President is a pimp?

What a moron.

A refreshing sight would be a politician admitting he can't be part of any solution. Since his only chance at percieved success is really just more beauracracy with its boot on the neck of average people.

Relentless: Please don't call our president-elect a moron.

SteveH: I agree completely. It's a shame that people have hope completely in their grasp but instead wait for deliverance from a politician. I think the founding fathers would agree as well.

the sad truth is that our politicians are merely reflections of the society they represent. we get what we ask for.

i'm less worried about a few thousand politicians appear to have no sense what-so-ever than i am about the millions that continually elect them.

Exactly.

The world we deserve is the one where hope is inspired by our own conscience and efforts.

Be nice if we'd have to confidence to give up the rest of the nonsense.
