Glass Houses

They mock Christianity while lavishing money on a church founded by a 1960's science fiction writer...
I can understand Tom Cruise, but I thought Will Smith was smarter than that.

Christianity was founded by fictional characters. The story of Jesus or slight variations of it go back to Mithra, Zarathustra, Dionysus, etc... He's just another variation on an old story.

Speaking of "money of a church", have you been to Vatican City?

There are also similarities between Jesus and Socrates, so has Christianity stolen from him as well? These are facile comparisons that even Tertullian and other early church fathers noted and commented on.

I am glad we are free to worship however we want, and this is not a criticism of Scientology, per se.

I just find it funny that those who poo poo ancient Hebrew texts worship at a church sprung from the imagination of a science fiction writer.
