It's called the first Amendment. Just like when I was wiring up radios in Iraq and Sen Reid declared all my efforts were in vain. Stupid? Yes. Irresponsible? Yes. Illegal? NoPlease go sign the petition! Sign early, sign often, and be sure to leave them a scalding message. Like everything the liberals do, this is a farce. So in the spirit of bipartisanship, join in and do your part to make it even more farcical!
You politicians have real constitutional and budget problems. Instead of facing them, you waste time on trivialities like this...

Sign the Democrats' Rush Limbaugh Petition!
The Democrats, having nothing better to do, have started an on-line petition against Rush Limbaugh because he said he wanted President Obama to fail. In the Democrats' funhouse world, it's OK to wish for defeat in Iraq and trash President Bush at every turn, but speaking ill of their chosen one is beyond the pale. I went and signed it. Here's what I wrote:

I thought about that, but I just couldn't resist shooting my mouth off. I'm not even that big of a Rush fan. The petition is meaningless anyway...
Bill Maher (of all people) actually said that despite the fact that he thought Iraq would fail he repeatedly says that of course he doesn't wish it to be the case. He says he hopes he's wrong. He says "you can't work backwards from I hate Bush."
He says this on his HBO show Real Time. I'll go trudging through youtube to show you the old tape if you don't believe me.

Early on I know a lot of Democrats tried to give Bush a chance. Even conservatives like Andrew Sullivan and others turned against him in the end.
Obama has been president for... has it been a week. If he had said that Obama would fail. Tha'ts something else. Wishing that Obama, and therefore the country failure?! You don't actually agree with Rush here?
I know you guys think that Obama will fail. That's just a difference of opinion. That's up for debate. Wishing him failure?! That's got to be anti-patriotic.

Mr Limbaugh is exactlt right. Mr Obama's and the democrats idea of success is to the detriment of America. Period. Just look how successful they've been at controling Detroit for 40 years.
I didn't say I didn't like Rush, I'm just not an ardent fan. I can't listen to the radio for more that short periods throughout the day anyway.
Canadian: I hear what you're saying, but really, the only goodwill for Bush was right after 9/11. It doesn't matter anyway. This side is going to trash the other side's guy; that's politics.
